: Hello, I'm writing a research paper on VW and I need a view of how her thoughts on her culture are reflected in her writings. Any basic summary of thoughts?
There is no basic summary. Woolf was, like any perceptive and complex person, a creature of various views on culture. You won't find one right answer -- which is why it makes for research paper fodder.
You could examine VW and art, VW and other writers (Proust, Joyce, etc.), VW and the role and status of women, VW and "the angel of the house", VW and Sophism, or any of a bunch of topics. It all can relate back to her writing and the culture of post-WWI and post-Victorian England.
Spend some time in the library doing research. Look over her diaries and letters, published and available at any decent library.
... and don't expect anyone else to do the work for you.
Enjoy.
